Wembley Downs
Set within the green, hilly surrounds of Wembley Downs, this kitchen draws from the Australian landscape, with earthy tones, natural textures and a grounded palette that feels at home in its setting.
More than a kitchen, this space is a connected living environment. Designed as an intentionally social space – built for family life and shared moments – it allows cooking, gathering and connection to exist within one continuous flow.
Earthy Cabinetry Tones
This kitchen balances soft foliage greens with deep timber tones creating a palette that feels organic, layered and distinctly connected to place.
Polytec Topiary forms the main cabinetry front – a mid-tone, yellow-based green that feels grounded and natural without overpowering the space.
This is paired with Florentine Walnut, a deep chocolate timber used across the overheads, floating shelf and the feature dining benchtop. The timber introduces richness and depth, balancing the softer green tones and adding natural warmth throughout.
Stone & Tiled splashback
The benchtop in Stone Ambassador Blanco Bliss sets a soft, luminous base for the kitchen. With its warm-white tone and subtle movement, it anchors the space while keeping it light and open.
This is complemented by tactile tile selections that introduce softness and texture. White stack-bonded subway tiles with an undulating surface form the cook’s splashback, adding movement and subtle shadow play.
Integrated LED lighting sits above the preparation zone and cooktop. Fully dimmable via remote control, it allows the atmosphere to shift from sharp, functional brightness in the morning through to a softer, low-glow ambience at night – subtly transforming it from a practical task area into a considered design feature within the kitchen.
Integrated Dining & Island Connection
The island extends beyond a traditional kitchen footprint, designed as a true extension of family life. One side offers casual breakfast seating at the island bench, while the opposite side flows into a fully integrated dining table in Florentine Walnut, supported by black anodised steel legs that are visually and functionally connected as one continuous piece.
This design dissolves the boundary between kitchen and dining, creating a single connected zone where cooking, eating and gathering happen together. It’s a space designed for everyday family life, thoughtfully maximising the available footprint to enhance flow, function and connection.
Coffee Station & Ambient Lighting
A deliberately carved-out coffee moment within the kitchen – defined by practicality and material contrast and designed as a quiet focal point within the space.
A floating Florentine Walnut shelf, integrated with LED strip lighting above and below, casts a soft glow that highlights the warmth and natural grain of the timber.
Within the coffee nook, arched feather mosaic tiles in honed marble bring a detailed, tactile finish, their natural veining in white, grey and honey tones adding subtle movement.
Together, the elements create a considered interplay of material and light, turning a simple function into a quiet, yet defined feature within the kitchen.
Brass Detailing
Brass detailing runs as a warm, consistent thread throughout the kitchen, lifting the palette and adding a quiet sense of depth and refinement.
Castella Grove handles in satin brass are used across tall cabinetry, the integrated dishwasher and euro cargo bin pull-out – their solid brass construction and knurled finish introducing a subtle tactile contrast against the smooth cabinetry planes.
At the sink, the ABI Elysian brushed brass gooseneck mixer extends this material language, echoing the same warmth and grounding the composition in a cohesive metallic tone that ties the entire kitchen together.
