This kitchen reimagines the shaker style through a contemporary lens – pairing classic detailing with a confident, layered palette. Deep teal cabinetry sets a grounded moody base, while soft blush stone and warm metallic accents lift the space, creating a balance of depth, warmth, and refinement. 

Cabinetry Palette

At its core, Polytec Habitat in an Ascot profile defines the kitchen’s character. The mid-tone teal cabinetry brings richness and depth, while the subtle bevelled edge of the Ascot profile references traditional shaker detailing. It adds character and definition to the cabinetry while maintaining a clean, contemporary feel. 

Polytec Florentine Walnut is introduced through floating shelving, bringing a deep chocolate timber tone that adds warmth and natural texture, acting as a bridge between the cool teal tones and warm brass accents. 

Stone Benchtop & Splashback

Stone Ambassador’s Rosé defines the benchtops and splashback, introducing a soft blush-toned surface with delicate, cloud-like veining. A bold, sculptural centrepiece, this stone adds a lightness and tonal contrast, balancing the deeper cabinetry while keeping the overall palette cohesive. 

Hardware & Tapware

The Georgia handles from Hepburn Hardware are used throughout in both handle and knob form. Finished in burnished brass with a classic rounded profile, they add a warm metallic detail that complements the teal cabinetry and blush stone. 

The Blanco Subline double undermount sink in Silgranit Black delivers a sleek, integrated finish with exceptional durability, paired with the Blanco InFino waste kit in satin gold to continue the brass detailing. Complementing the sink is the Abey gooseneck pull-out mixer in Eureka Gold, adding a refined functional focal point with a soft metallic warmth. 

Appliances & Storage Solutions

Functionality is seamlessly integrated throughout the kitchen. A concealed appliance cabinet with bifold doors keeps everyday clutter out of sight when not in use, maintaining a calm, uninterrupted aesthetic. Internal LED strip lighting is sensor-activated, turning on automatically when the doors are opened to provide a practical, well-lit workspace.  

The tall pantry is also fitted with sensor LED lighting, a subtle but highly functional detail that improves visibility and ease of use. LED lighting continues through to the cooking station, providing additional task lighting where it’s needed most. 

A built-in Duo oven and combi microwave in dark stainless-steel sit neatly side by side within the cabinetry, with an integrated dishwasher included for a streamlined finish. 

The Euro Cargo pull-out bin system provides efficient waste separation with soft-close runners and integrated internal organisation, maximising functionality within a compact footprint. Rear cupboards on the island bench provide additional storage, maximising functionality without impacting the clean design.
