We’re welcoming the return of colour to contemporary kitchen design for 2024. This eye-catching kitchen we completed for Dale Alcock Homes Bushmead display home is striking with it’s choice of Polytec Habitat smooth cabinetry that delivers a calming mid-tone teal blue for it’s cabinetry design.
This kitchen has a brilliant multi functional layout with a kitchen island, ample bench space, huge walk in pantry and a scullery that includes a second sink wash station and semi-integrated dishwasher. The kitchen island also includes a dedicated seated area creating a social hub that fits everyday family life and entertaining with guests.
Earthy colour schemes like this one are trending for kitchen design in 2024. The blue cabinetry kitchen creates impact and pairs beautifully with the contrasting overhead cupboards in Polytec Coastal Oak. The stone benchtops in this kitchen are Caesarstone Alpine Mist which deliver a cool grey background with crisp white veins running through the feature waterfall edges on the island and across the kitchen benchtops.
When choosing a darker cabinetry colour for your kitchen; we recommend considering cabinetry handles to minimise the appearance of fingerprints. This kitchen uses Hafele gold handles which contrast nicely against the blue cabinetry and accessorise the kitchen beautifully along with the gold tapware, sconce and pendant lighting.
