KITCHEN RENOVATIONS PERTH – OUR TOP FAQS

1. Where do I start?

Good question! We recommend a great starting point is to visit a kitchen showroom in Perth, where you can see, feel and touch in real life. Whilst Instagram and Pinterest are also great sources of inspiration, nothing can quite compare with standing in a fully functional kitchen, viewing different kitchen layouts, products and materials for yourself. An added bonus of visiting a kitchen showroom is the ability to have an initial chat with a kitchen designer who can assist you with your design, give you an overview of expected costs, and provide advice and guidance on product and material selection. You’ll walk away armed with information to begin your exciting journey. The Maker’s showroom is staffed with experienced kitchen designers and is open Monday through to Saturday with no appointment necessary for an initial discussion.

2. Where will my kitchen be made?

The Maker’s kitchens are all proudly WA-made, right here on our premises in Bassendean. Our state of the art manufacturing facility exceeds more than 8000m2 and utilises the latest in European technology combined with efficient hand-made production, meaning your custom kitchen can be manufactured within a timely manner, and to the highest standard. After visiting our showroom, our kitchen designers are more than happy to walk you through our production facility where you can see the magic happen for yourself and be confident of the high quality and attention to detail that will result in your dream kitchen.

3. What products do you use?

Not sure of the best products for your kitchen renovation in Perth? Our designers keep on top of all best products in the market, and can provide recommendations of the best products to suit your style, needs and budget. Whilst we are able to source and provide any products for your individual requirements, we do work closely with reputable and high-quality suppliers, such as Hafele, Polytec and Caesarstone so that you can be assured of not only the excellence in product but a warranty for additional peace of mind.

4. How much will my kitchen cost?

Price is dependant on a number of factors, including size, layout, cabinetry requirements and inclusions, and the materials and products selected by our clients. A good rule of thumb for an investment in your kitchen is setting a figure of between 5 and 15% of your home’s total value to renovate the kitchen – so for example, if your home is valued at $500,000 this could be anywhere between $25,000 and $75,000. Every kitchen design by The Maker is a custom, one-off design and priced to your specific measurements. We can design a kitchen to suit any budget, and the great part is we can give you a price indication on-site, or in our showroom with your plans. Our designers can recommend changes or optional extras, working within your parameters.
