Subiaco

The brief for this contemporary kitchen renovation we completed in Subiaco was to completely transform the old dated kitchen into a light and modern design. A new kitchen that would cater for large functions at home and would also open up the kitchen area to the main living and dining rooms.

In order to fulfil our clients brief our interior designer was given the creative freedom to remodel the existing layout of the kitchen in this home. This required some structural changes such as removing a brick pantry, a nib wall to the kitchen island and construction of an improved bulkhead.

These changes improved the flexibility of the kitchen layout and allowed the creation of this contemporary kitchen design. Click here to view the Before & After images of this project.

Polytec Hamptons Profile cabinetry was selected for this kitchen for it’s timeless appearance and to compliment the architectural design of this home. It’s paired with Polytec Maison Oak Concave STECCAWOOD cabinetry on the kitchen peninsula and feature oak cabinetry to the overhead cupboard internals.

Curves were intentional in this design as a nod to curved arches in the architecture of this home. The concave profile adds modern texture, and the ends of the kitchen peninsula each have custom curved edges creating a fluid design for the Caesarstone Organic White benchtop.

Elegant gold handles and tapware compliment the colour scheme in this kitchen. The choice of a white sink coordinates perfectly with the white quartz benchtops and creates a seamless flow of colour.

As part of this kitchen renovation we also renovated the laundry room. These zones are side by side which allows for continuity of the cabinetry in this home.
