This stunning luxury kitchen we built for Webb & Brown-Neaves ‘The George’ display home is a timeless design inspired by the Georgian style of architecture.
Modern Georgian style kitchens are timeless. They have a vintage look about them but are ergonomically efficient with modern appliances. They have a beautiful sense of symmetry and balance. This is demonstrated well in this kitchen with the design of the kitchen island and layout of the rear wall of cabinetry.
The colour scheme in this kitchen is classic with a combination of Polytec Tempest Woodgrain and Classic White cabinetry. The cabinetry custom is Polytec thermolaminated vinyl in Ballarat profile. A simple yet stunning profile that adds detail to this kitchen design without being overstated. This is characteristic of a Georgian style kitchen design.
The quartz benchtops in this kitchen are Caesarstone Ice Snow which has a crisp white base with small sparks of neutral coloured mineral chips. The cabinetry handles are a combination of Hafele round and pull cup handles in pewter which is popular for this style kitchen.
This new kitchen embraces the integration trend with a fully integrated fridge/freezer hidden behind custom cabinetry. This allows this kitchen to have the benefits of the latest luxury appliances but concealed behind custom cabinetry so the aesthetics of this design can shine through.
