Madora Bay

This Coastal kitchen we created for Dale Alcock Homes, features a light, classic design inspired by relaxed seaside living. Soft, airy tones, natural textures, and careful detailing create a space that is both practical and welcoming.

Cabinetry

The kitchen features Polytec’s Blossom White Woodmatt cabinetry, a slightly greyed, warm solid white with a subtle woodgrain texture. Overhead cabinets open with push-catch doors for effortless access, while the lower cabinets feature Haefele Furniture D Handles in natural oak, adding subtle warmth and tying into the relaxed coastal colour palette. 

Benchtops & Island

Benchtops throughout the kitchen are from Stone Ambassador’s Zenith Surfaces range in the Marrakesh colour, inspired by the natural inclines of the desert. The earthy tones provide subtle texture while remaining neutral enough to let the cabinetry and fixtures shine. 

The island bench features the same finish and curved cabinetry, encouraging connection and creating a natural flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. 

Rangehood, Lighting & Tiling

Polytec’s Steccawood half-round rangehood in Natural Oak is a statement piece at the centre of the kitchen. Its rich European yellow-brown oak tones and wide planks showcase natural wood grain and texture, complementing the curve of the island bench. Two Piatto wall lights sit on either side of the rangehood, providing ambient, while their geometric shapes echo the kitchen’s clean lines. 

Behind the rangehood, Beaumont Tiles’ Safi White tiles form a classic, handcrafted splashback, with slight undulations adding texture and character. The tile continues subtly across other areas of the kitchen, tying the design together. 

Appliances & Fixtures

Integrated appliances maintain a seamless look, including a fully integrated dishwasher, built-in microwave with drawer below, and a wine fridge tucked away in the walk-in pantry. These practical additions enhance everyday usability while keeping the aesthetic clean and refined. 

Design That Flows

A fully hidden walk-in pantry sits discreetly behind the kitchen, carrying through the same finishes for a cohesive look. It includes additional cabinetry and a functional benchtop, providing ample storage and a practical space to keep appliances and everyday items out of view. 

The adjoining laundry mirrors the kitchen’s finishes – Blossom White cabinetry, Marrakesh benchtops, and brushed brass tapware – creating a seamless, coordinated look. The consistent design carries the coastal elegance through every corner of the home.
