Our clients had a strong design vision for how they wished to renovate this modern kitchen. The client brief was minimal, sleek and contemporary. Something that had a timeless appeal and created ‘wow factor’ in the kitchen and complimented the surrounding living zones.
One of the starring design elements of this luxury kitchen design is the beautiful Stone Ambassador Elysian White kitchen island and high stone splashback. The Polytec Black Ply cabinetry adds drama and a sophisticated feel to this kitchen. The Black Ply has a very subtle open grain texture that adds another element of texture to this kitchen design.
The feature rangehood design in this kitchen was completed with Polytec Calcutta 25 and is combined with a single floating shelf. The floating shelf also includes integrated lighting and with all these elements brought together they create another statement in this custom kitchen design.
Minimalist kitchen elements in this design include handleless cabinetry, induction cooktop, a smooth surface island, and the omission of overhead cabinetry storage.
This kitchen also features an oven stack design which we are seeing become more popular in modern kitchens as opposed to side by side underbench oven layouts. An oven stack is a practical way to lift and carry food in and out of the appliances used in this type of layout.
