New York Industrial design
With these kitchen renovations, it’s South Perth meets New York Industrial. This incredible South Perth home has used dramatic angular lines, raw finishes and industrial style throughout and the kitchen was designed to fit seamlessly with the tone of the rest of the house. The focus during the design process was functionality and this has been delivered through the use of ample storage and ease of use. The materials used in the space, including five metre stainless steel benchtop, natural timber veneer and integrated appliances, have provided an industrial, raw feel which fits the theme of the rest of the house.
For truly unique kitchens in Perth, WA, adding a touch of the dramatic can really set a kitchen apart and this space has achieved that. The choice of darker toned, angular cabinetry coupled with industrial style handles fits with the surrounding flooring and exposed steel and the timber veneer offers an interesting contrast.
An industrial feel is popular in new home kitchen designs and this kitchen shows how industrial design can be integrated in such a way that the space doesn’t feel too cold or stark. The clean lines of the kitchen are achieved largely through the use of integrated storage solutions which means that there is no clutter on benchtops to take away from the dramatic impact of the design. The white splashbacks with the contrasting darker grout are another nod to the industrial feel of the house.
